Your Flow State turns live audio into visuals for clubs, parties and DJ sets. This page explains what the service collects, why, and what it never collects.
The most important thing: your audio never leaves your browser
The app asks for microphone access so it can react to the music you are playing. That audio is analysed on your own device, in your browser, in real time. It is never uploaded, never recorded by us, and never stored anywhere. The same is true of any image or video you add as a background, and of the visuals themselves.
What we collect
- Account details. Your email address and name. If you sign in with Google, these come from your Google account along with your profile picture; we receive nothing else from Google. If you sign up with an email and password, we store the email you enter and a hashed password, never the password itself.
- Session cookie. One cookie that keeps you signed in. It is essential to the service and is not used for advertising or for tracking you across other sites.
- Activity records. When you sign up and when you sign in, with the time, your IP address and your browser's user-agent string.
- Error and diagnostic logs. When something breaks, we record what failed, the page it happened on, your IP address, your browser, and your account identifier, so the problem can be found and fixed.
Why we collect it
To give you an account and keep you signed in, and to find and fix faults. That is all. We do not sell personal data, we do not share it for advertising, and we do not build advertising profiles.
Who processes it on our behalf
- Google — only if you choose to sign in with Google, to confirm who you are.
- Neon — the database holding your account. Currently hosted in Singapore.
- Cloudflare — serves the application and runs the parts that handle sign-in.
- Axiom — stores error and diagnostic logs.
How long we keep it
Account details are kept until you delete your account. Diagnostic logs are kept for a limited period and then discarded.
Your choices
- Delete your account from the account page. This removes your account record and the activity history attached to it.
- Ask what we hold about you, or ask for a correction, by email.
- Refuse the microphone. The app will still run; it simply will not react to sound.
Age
This service is for adults. You must be 18 or over to create an account, and we do not knowingly collect data from anyone younger. If you believe someone under 18 has created an account, tell us and we will remove it.
Changes
If this policy changes in a way that affects you, the date at the top changes and we will say so in the app.
